In coming years, billions of users around the world will connect to high-speed wireless networks using small handheld devices.

I am interested in how people use social networks on mobile devices for education and training.

I am particularly interested in the potential of mobile digital technologies to help adult learners in the developing world to connect, communicate, and share information with each other, with digital libraries and universities.

My current research involves developing standards for evaluating and measuring the usability and impact of mobile social networks in education and training.
